UWV 2021

The UWV data warehouses were outdated. The Datafabriek project, in which I participated, had the ambition to create a modern data warehouse.
As a senior Information Analyst, I guided my junior colleagues in data warehousing, data integration and data modeling. I used techniques such as Mob Programming to help develop their SQL and analysis skills where necessary. I worked closely with the end customer to understand their information needs and translate them into data models.
“Conformed dimensions” was one of the wishes of the internal customers. I have explained this technical concept to the end users in terms that they can understand. As a result, we came to the conclusion that the organization was not yet ready and the priorities were adjusted accordingly.
